Welcome to my site!

I’m a postdoctoral research associate in evolutionary biology at Michigan State University, where I explore how organisms respond to environmental change. My research centers on phenotypic plasticity, genotype-by-environment interactions, and the broader questions of how life adapts—or struggles to adapt—to novel and extreme settings.

Beyond the lab and fieldwork, I’m passionate about teaching evolutionary biology and ecology. I especially love getting students outside, whether it’s on a field trip or through immersive, hands-on learning experiences. I’ve also worked in outdoor education and value any opportunity to combine science with fresh air and muddy boots!

One of the most rewarding parts of academia for me is mentoring students, not just in science but in broader academic skills—from managing your wellbeing to navigating academia.

When I’m not teaching or researching, you’ll likely find me hiking, painting, or bouldering—anything that gets me thinking creatively or moving outdoors.

I hope you enjoy exploring the site!
